Wizz Air is to link London’s Gatwick Airport with Lyon in France. The Hungarian budget carrier says it will fly four times a week during the winter season to France’s third biggest city, which it described as “filled with historical landmarks, renowned restaurants, and famous frescoes”. The Lyon announcement followed the recent opening  by Wizz of routes from Gatwick to Verona and Grenoble.
