Wizz Air reports February traffic

In February 2016, Wizz Air’s passenger traffic increased by 21.7% to 1.636million passengers, on the back of a 17.9% increase in capacity. Load factor during the month increased by 2.6 percentage points to 86.4%. On a rolling 12 months basis, Wizz Air’s traffic has increased by 21.5% to 22.340 million passengers to the end of February 2016. During that period, capacity has increased by 1.6 percentage points to 88.2%. In February 2016, Wizz Air announced its 24th base in Kutaisi, Georgia opening in September 2016 and the launch of nine new routes to/from Hungary (x1), Poland (x1) and Georgia (x7).
