The US-Bangla Airlines is planning to add two Airbus A330s as a part of its fleet expansion and international capacity expansion. The new aircraft are expected to join the fleet by May 2023. The airline plans to connect Dhaka with Middle Eastern destinations Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam of Saudi Arabia with the new aircraft, to cater to Bangladeshi Hajj and Umrah pilgrims as well as expatriate workers. “Passengers travel to various destinations in Saudi Arabia through third carriers from Bangladesh, spending extra fares and extra time in transit.
