Turkish Airlines is planning to launch a new route connecting Istanbul to Detroit. The thrice weekly flights are expected to start from November 15, 2023. Experts believe that Turkish airlines is well-placed geographically to capitalize on this traffic, including passengers from Lebanon, Jordan, and Israel. With the launch of this route, Turkish will add its 13th destination in US. The airline has planned 106 weekly US departures in November with an average of 15 daily departures.
