American Airlines said Friday its traffic rose 4.3% in November from  last year a year earlier, led by a surge in flights to the APAC region. System-wide capacity, or the number of available seats, rose 3.2% last month. The airline flew paying passengers 9.9 billion miles last month, compared with 9.49 billion miles in November 2009.
