Turkish Airlines flew 83 million passengers in 2023

Turkish Airlines flew 83.4 million passengers in 2023 with domestic capacity growing by 23.5% and international capacity by 16% year on year. Its international capacity between 2019 and 2023 has grown 27%, with its investment in its hub at Istanbul Airport helping to bolster its capacity growth. The airline had grown its fleet 12% to 440 aircraft in 2023 and has since then grown to 450 aircraft in 2024. It plans to expand further to nearly double its fleet to 800 aircraft in 2033.
