Ryanair Spanish staff strike; easyJet Spanish pilots to strike

Ryanair’s Spanish staff, represented by the USO and SITCPLA unions, will be striking weekly from August 8 until January 7, 2023. The strikes will take place every Monday to Thursday during the period. The unions demand that Ryanair: comply with basic labour rights in Spain by introducing 22 days of annual leave plus 14 days of statutory holiday; reinstate 11 workers who were dismissed in June and July for supporting the strikes; and to stop sanctions against some 100 workers who previously went on strike.
