Myanmar Airways International to commence direct Yangon-Chennai route

Myanmar Airways International is all set to commence direct flights between Yangon to Chennai, India every Saturday starting May 6, 2023. This route marks the introduction of the airline’s fourth destination in India. The other three destinations are Delhi, Gaya and Kolkata. The airline is planning to deploy its A320 on the route and hopes to enhance the connectivity between the two countries. The airline also claims that the new route will boost the leisure and tourism to Myanmar with comfortable connections to Yangon and beyond domestic and international sectors.
