April 15 saw airBaltic’s first flight from Riga to Hanover as part of a summer range of 20 routes, the most the carrier has offered in a season. The Latvian national airline airBaltic will connect its country’s capital with the German city with twice-weekly flights, promising travellers “a thriving cultural scene with lots of museums and historic sites, as well as excellent shopping and dining options.”
