JetBlue going ahead with April pre-payment to Spirit stockholders

JetBlue is proceeding with its previously-announced plan for a pre-payment of 10 cents a share to Spirit Airlines stockholders.   “JetBlue has set April 24, 2023, as the record date for the April 2023 prepayment to Spirit stockholders of $0.10 per Spirit share (the “April 2023 Additional Prepayment”), with payment of the April 2023 Additional Prepayment to occur on April 28, 2023,” the carrier said, echoing plans previous statements on the matter.   JetBlue and Spirit are attempting to merge, a plan that has been stalled by a US government court challenge.
