Carrier airBaltic’s 246,800 passengers in January 2023 represented a 67% increase compared to the same period last year, it said. The number of flights by airBaltic during the month came to just over 3,000, a 22% year-on-year jump. “The first month of the year has started very confidently, clearly marking our on-going growth path. The demand is stable and with an upward trend, which means that in 2023 we will continue to expand – in terms of fleet size, passengers carried, flights performed, destinations served, and employees recruited,” said Martin Gauss, president and chief executive.
