Japan Airlines recently retired its second-last Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. The event was marked by airline employees bidding the wide-body aircraft farewell as it departed to the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND). The aircraft was delivered in 2002 With GE90 engines and 236-seat cabin. With the retirement of its B777-200ER the airline is now left with a single B777-200ER and even that aircraft has not flown since May 7, 2023.
