ITA Airways is to boost its daily connection between Roma Fiumicino and Sao Paolo with four more return flights a week. The extra flights will start in August 2023, the carrier said, and will “further strengthen its presence in South America” ahead of its first Fiumicino to Rio de Janeiro flight in October. ITA Airways customers will in turn “be able to fly from São Paulo International Airport to all domestic Brazilian destinations”, due to code-sharing deals with Azul, GOL Airlines and Latam, ITA said.
