Icelandair selects GTF engines for up to 35 A320neo family aircraft

Icelandair has selected RTX’s Pratt & Whitney (P&W) GTF engines to power up to 35 new A320neo family aircraft, comprised of a mix of leased and purchased A321XLR and A321LR aircraft. It marks the first GTF purchase from the airline.
