Avia Solutions acquires Australia’s Skytrans

Ireland-based Avia Solutions, the ACMI provider, has concluded its acquisition of Australia’s Skytrans Airlines. Through this acquisition, Avia has secured an Australian air operator certificate (AOC), allowing for access to the domestic aviation market in Australia and paving the way for both passenger and cargo flight operations. The new certificate brings the group’s total number of AOCs to 12. Skytrans operates a fleet of 13 regional aircraft, specialising in regular public transport and charter operations.
