About Calum

Calum graduated in 2019 with a BA (Hons) in Journalism from Edinburgh Napier University before subsequently receiving his MLitt from the University of Glasgow in 2020. Throughout his studies, Calum sought out a wealth of experience opportunities including the Daily Record, Edinburgh Festivals Magazine, Mentorn Media, and STV2. He worked as a sub-editor and writer for oil & gas industry publication, NewsBase, from 2018 to 2019. After an enriching and rather unconventional working abroad stint in South Korea, Calum has joined Airline Economics bringing his fresh skills and wide range of experiences to the publication. While new to the aviation industry, Calum has already covered various news pieces and has also covered stories such as the Space Perspective SpaceBalloon and NASA’s X-59 aircraft for Aviation Life magazine.
