Green Africa Airways begins domestic routes

Nigerian low-cost carrier, Green Africa, will begin operating domestic flights with three leased ATR 72-600s later this month. The airline is also reported to be engaged in securing funding of $30 million. Green Africa took delivery of the three leased aircraft in June from ACIA Aero Leasing (ACIA). The ATRs will be deployed primarily across Nigeria, with plans for expansion into the broader African continent and the addition of two to three new airport bases in Nigeria over the period of twelve to 18 months.
