New Scandinavia carrier, Great Dane Airlines, will launch in June from its base in Aalborg in northern Denmark, using two 118-seater Embraer 195 aircraft, eight pilots and twelve cabin crew. The carrier will target primarily charter and business customers, but also aims to fill in gaps in the European route network. Nice (once-weekly), Dublin (once-weekly) and Edinburgh (three weekly flights) are among the early scheduled route announcements, with more to follow. Charter destinations in association with Bravo Tours will include Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes, Chania and Varna. Thomas Hugo Møller is the CEO and founder with Huy Duc Nguyen.
