China Eastern opens multiple international routes ahead of Chinese New Year

China Eastern Airlines has launched multiple international routes ahead of the travel rush for Chinese New Year on February 10, 2024. The additional routes include Beijing to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which will operate five times a week. Alongside resuming the Shanghai to Cairns, Australia services, the airline will also add 15 new international routes including a new Pudong-Perth route. It will increase flight frequencies from Pudong to Sydney, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Maldives capital Male.
