China Eastern Airlines has bought the remaining 20% in China United Airlines that it doesn’t own from parent company China Eastern Air Holding giving it full control of the Beijing-based airline. China Eastern plans to use the airline to further expand into the Beijing market. China United currently operates eight aircraft – six 737-800s and two 737-700s – on more than 20 domestic routes.
