AWAS places a third 737-300 aircraft with Boliviana

AWAS has delivered a third 737-300 to Bolivian airline, Boliviana de Aviación. The delivery was celebrated in a special ceremony staged by Boliviana and attended by the Bolivian president, Evo Morales, and other top government officials. Morales congratulated Boliviana on its achievements to date and acknowledged the support given by AWAS towards the airline’s fleet growth.

Boliviana has recently presented AWAS with a special medal “in recognition to those who with their vision and goodwill make possible our successes.” AWAS Vice President Sales Americas Sergio Gonzalez commented on the receiving of this award: “All of us at AWAS are very proud to have played a part in helping Boliviana to launch and now grow into the success that it is today. We truly appreciate this recognition and look forward to many years of partnership ahead.”

An AWAS customer since 2009, having supported its initial launch, Boliviana plans to expand its route network to additional international destinations. Currently Boliviana serves Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires as well as six domestic destinations from its hub in Cochabamba.
