Air France-KLM is yet to declare its order for engines to powers its order for 35 A350s. The airline group is reported to be still wrangling with sole source provider Rolls-Royce because it is intent on doing its own maintenance, while Rolls of course insists all of its customers sign up for its Total Care maintenance program. Although Rolls-Royce is the sole source engine provider of the A350, Air France-KLM still has to choose the engine provider for its 787 order, which could give it some leverage over Rolls in the A350 deal.
