Avelo opening nine more routes out of Delaware

Avelo is adding nine routes from Wilmington Airport in Delaware for what it said is  the “largest number of nonstop routes ever offered” at the hub. The additions take the airline to 14 destinations out of Wilmington, with the expansion to be served by a second Boeing 737 and “at least 35” extra staff for more than 100 crew based at the airport. “The strong demand we are generating out of the gate is a testament to the convenient, affordable, reliable and caring air service Avelo has introduced to the Delaware Valley, ” said Andrew Levy, Avelo’s chairman.
