Italian carrier Alitalia will transfer its flights to Milan Malpensa airport and start four additional Bergamo-Rome services. The move follows the closure of Milan Linate airport, which will stop operations for runway maintenance works from 27 July to 27 October. During the three months’ closure of the Milan city airport, the Italian airline will transfer its flights to all domestic and international destinations served by Linate -impacting 200 flights per day that normally operate to and from Milan Linate airport.
