Boeing, Air Europa and SMBC Aviation Capital have celebrated the delivery of the carrier’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Air Europa leased its first 787 through an agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital. The delivery is also the first Dreamliner to SMBC Aviation Capital. The newest addition to Air Europa’s fleet touched down in Madrid on March 16 following a nonstop 4,128 miles (6,643 kilometres) delivery flight from Boeing’s 787 assembly site in North Charleston, South Carolina. “The state-of-the-art 787 Dreamliner will provide us with significant operational advantages as we aim to expand our footprint around the globe,” said Juan José Hidalgo,
