Aeromexico passenger traffic increases 1.5%

Aeromexico passenger traffic saw a steady 1.5% increase in January 2024 year-on-year, rising to 1.99 million total passengers for the month, compared to 1.96 million passengers in January 2023. Total international travel increased 17.2% YoY; however, domestic travel fell 5.4% YoY. Demand, measured in revenue passenger kilometres (RPKs), increased by 14.7% in January 2024 YoY with international RPKs increasing 25.3% YoY, but domestic RPKs decreasing 4.4% YoY.
