Turkish Airlines launches price war

Turkish Airlines is offering up to 50% off tickets from Kuwait to Istanbul from today to October 19. This is a move by Turkish Airlines to promote the touristic capital as a top travel destination for GCC travelers. Murat Bas, the VP (Marketing & Sales) for the Middle East & Cyprus, said: “Turkish Airlines has witnessed tremendous growth from Kuwait, a 68 per cent increase in passenger traffic in the first eight months of this year compared to 2012 and an increase in weekly flights from 14 to 42, connecting passengers from Kuwait to more countries than any other airline.”
