South Korean low-cost carrier is reported to be considering providing direct flights to Tinian and Rota. Jeju Air chief executive officer Kyu Nam Choi, said that these plans depends on whether the destinations are developed into tourist resorts with casinos. “That depends. I hear that there are plans for Tinian and other islands to develop casinos and other entertainment facilities. Depending on the capacity we are looking very closely into it,” said Choi. Jeju Air is the only South Korean airline serving both Guam and Saipan. It currently offers daily, direct flights from Saipan to Seoul.
