13 passengers and three crew injured as Hawaiian Airlines plane hits mid-air turbulence

About 13 passengers and three crew members were injured in a recent Hawaiian Airlines accident in which the flight to Hawaii was rocked by severe turbulence on Sunday, December 18, 2022, for about 30 minutes outside Honolulu. The injured were immediately taken to hospital for further care. According to a statement by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, eleven people were hospitalized in serious condition and nine others were in stable condition.
