Airbus in line for bumper China orders

Chinese president Hu Jintao is visiting France next week to among other things, negotiate a deal to order dozens of Airbus aircraft.

Rumours suggest the Airbus is poised to sell A320s, A330s and A350s China and an order is widely expected to be announced next week.

“We are positive about expanding cooperation between the two countries in nuclear energy and civil aviation,” says Chinese vice foreign minister Fu Ying. “We hope to reach some agreements and produce some concrete outcomes on this.”
