ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER DELTA TECHNICAL FAULT

A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Los Angeles was forced to return to Atlanta yesterday due to an air duct problem. Flight 125 left Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 5:15 pm but a problem with an air duct forced the aircraft to return. The plane returned to the gate at 6:40pm. Moreover, as the Boeing 767 landed on the runway at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the aircraft’s tail scraped the runway the FAA have confirmed. A runway inspection found no debris.

The aircraft was able to taxi to the gate without assistance and the 262 passengers were removed and re-boarded another aircraft.
