Ameco Beijing approved for V2500 repair

Ameco Beijing has been certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), EASA and the FAA to provide maintenance, overhauls and modifications to V2500-A5 series engines. Ameco, which is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa Technik, expects to take delivery of its first V2500 for overhaul this month. The expansion into the V2500 MRO market comes less than three months after Ameco serviced its first PW4000 engine.
