Plans for a new airport for Mumbai are advancing since the Navi Mumbai International Airport has received clearances from authorities and has shortlisted bidders, according to reports. The airport will take four years to build, will span over 1,160 hectares and serve 60 million passengers a year by 2030. Tata Realty with MIA Infrastructure, Hirandani with Zurich Airport, GMR Airports, and Mumbai International Airport are the four bidders shortlisted for the construction project.
