An Air Philippines A320 aircraft overshot the 2,300-meter long runway at the Kalibo International Airport in Aklan, Philippines shortly after landing yesterday morning. There were no injuries.   The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said that the aircraft was not able to completely stop before the runway threshold forcing it to overshoot the runway and stop at the grassy edge of the runway.   There were intermittent rain showers at the Kalibo airport during the time of the incident brought about by a Low Pressure Area in the vicinity.
