SAA going concern state guarantee approved

South African Airways (SAA) has been conditionally granted a state guarantee as a going concern by the South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan, with the condition that the airline board must focus on returning the airline to financial sustainability over the next five years. SAA has been granted SAA has also been told that it needs to work on introducing a strategic equity partner.
