Mexican president Andrés Manuel López Obrador declared the sale of presidential jet, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, to the government of Tajikistan for $92 million, almost half of the price for which it was originally brought. The announcement was made on social media. Former Mexican President Felipe Calderón had acquired the aircraft for $218 million in 2012. So far, only one Mexican President, Enrique Peña Nieto has used the presidential Jet for about 214 flights totalling 600,000 kilometers.
