Saudia opens new operations building at Jeddah airport

Saudia recently opened 50,000 square meter new operations building at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah. Interestingly the building boasts of an extensive operations control centre which is the largest in Middle East and 12th largest globally. The centre will coordinate between the group’s business lines via its facilities to ensure control of its operational plans, and tracks air traffic across all domestic and international airports in real time, the airline said in a statement. Ibrahim Al Omar, Director General of Saudia Group said: “We are eager to see the new Saudia Operations building help make our flight services,
