Flights have resumed out of Manchester Airport after snowfall led to the closing of runways for around two hours. In a notification published at around 9am local time on January 19, the airport said passengers should contact airlines for information on departing flights. Aviation data provider Cirium said around 150 flights were due to take off from the airport on the day, equating to around 30,000 seats, with budget carriers Ryanair and easyJet operating around 60 of the scheduled departures.
