Finnair introduces Avios as new loyalty currency

Finnair is planning to renew its Finnair Plus loyalty program by introducing Avios as its new loyalty currency in early 2024 with an aim to bring new opportunities to new and existing members to use the programs loyalty points. The Finnair Plus program will be based on spend-based platform and feature new milestone benefits to enable members to get extra rewards like additional upgrade etc. And as an extra incentive the members will also receive complimentary internet access for messaging as a new benefit short-haul European flights operated with the narrow-body Airbus fleet, regardless of their tier status.
