EHang has opened Japan’s fist urban air mobility (UAM) centre in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefucture, which it describes as ‘a milestone in Japan’s advanced air mobility industry’. The facility will serve as a demonstration flight site, ground infrastructure and maintenance base for EHang’s uncrewed electric vertical  takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in the region.
