Drukair, regional operator from Bhutan has placed a firm order of two H130 helicopters with Airbus. The aircraft are scheduled to be delivered in 2024. Drukair will take the first helicopter in March 2024 and the second one in September 2024. The new H130s will replace the H130 A5-BHT that met with an accident in March 2023 and the second one will replace Drukair’s remaining sole H130. Drukair will use the new H130s for passenger and cargo flights, medevac and firefighting missions.
