Brisbane Airport celebrates 50 years of Fiji connectivity

Brisbane Airport recently completed 50 years of direct flights between Brisbane and Fiji. “June 1st, 1973 was a special day for Queensland’s state capital when it came to aviation. Specifically, on this date, the first scheduled flight from Fiji touched down at Brisbane’s former Eagle Farm Airport, located just outside the city itself,” the airport said in a statement.
