Vertical Aerospace recruits David King as chief engineer

UK-based electric aircraft manufacturer, Vertical Aerospace, has brought in David King as its chief engineer. King, who worked with Leonardo Helicopters and Bell At Vertical during three decades in aerospace engineering, is to oversee technical development of the VX4 electric aircraft. He worked for seven years as chief engineer on on the AW609 VTOL aircraft developed by Leonardo and has extensive experience dealing with certification bodies such as the Federal Aviation Administration.
