Rolls-Royce takes £351 million hit after Skymark A380 termination

Rolls-Royce has revealed that the termination of the Skymark Airlines A380 order has cost the company £351 million, which represents 0.5% of Rolls-Royce’s order book £71.4bn. Skymark had originally signed a Letter of Intent with Rolls-Royce to equip the six-aircraft order with Trent 900 engines, accompanied by a TotalCare® support package.
