Boom Supersonic has announced significant advances on Overture, its sustainable supersonic aircraft, at the Paris Air Show, including milestones for its Symphony engine. Overture will be able to fly at twice the speed of a normal modern airliner, and it is designed to run entirely on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Boom signed structural supplier agreements with Aernova for Overture’s wings, Leonardo for the fuselage and wing box, and Aciturri for the empennage.
