Aerolíneas Argentinas first Latin American airline to use Intelsat ESA antenna

Argentinan flag-carrier Aerolíneas Argentinas is soon to become the first carrier in Latin America to offer inflight connectivity services using Intelsat’s new electronically steered array (ESA) antenna. The multi-orbit inflight connectivity service (pioneered by the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial network) will be available on the airline’s fleet of 18 A330 and 737 MAX aircraft, enabling passengers to benefit from what the airline’s senior vice president for commercial aviation Dabe Bijur describes as “the same fast and dependable Internet access they enjoy at home”. A key part of Aerolíneas Argentinas’ ability to provide multi-orbit inflight connectivity service is the
