UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak announced an Autumn Budget yesterday that included a cut in Air Passenger Duty (APD) for domestic UK flights between airports in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will, from April 2023. Sunak also announced an extension in financial support for regional airports for a further six months in order to “help them get through the winter”.
