Teesside Airport in the north-east of England has claimed to be “the UK’s first to entirely do away with the 100ml limit on liquids when passing through airport security”. The amount has been lifted to two litres after the airport installed two “cutting-edge” C3 scanners, which also remove the need for creams and cosmetics to be placed in separate bags and for laptops and other electronic items to also be taken out ahead of scanning.
