SmartLynx Airlines recently received its Australian Foreign Air Transport Operator Certificate (FATAOC) from the Australian Civil Aviation Authority. This certificate will allow the airline to begin commercial operations to and from Australia. Receiving this approval was a part of the airline strategic plan to expand its global network by entering new markets.
