Ireland’s government has made two additions to the board of Shannon Airport. Microsoft’s strategy and sustainability director Aisling Curtis and former European Investment Bank board member and aviation lawyer John Moran were appointed by Eamon Ryan, Ireland’s minister for transport, climate, communications and the environment. “Aisling and John are very welcome additions,” according to chair Conal Henry, who said they would add “experience and expertise” to the board as it aims “to build sustainable livelihoods and a vibrant economy”. Moran, formerly the leading civil servant in Ireland’s finance ministry, founded and is chief executive of Limerick-based organisation RHH International. Curtis
